Scott Rohrman
Scott Rohrman specializes in commercial real estate investment and development and oversees the day-to-day efforts of the 42 Real Estate team. The 42 Real Estate team focuses on build-to-suit projects for corporate tenants, and also focuses on land and urban development investments with outside partners for future and current development. The investment land tracts are typically planned for future retail, office, and industrial developments. Rohrman has led the 42 team’s development of industrial buildings in over 40 US states plus Canada. Rohrman assembled over 55 parcels in the Deep Ellum area of Dallas near downtown, and embarked on helping with the community redevelopment in that area with the 100+ year old buildings. Rohrman also served as the president of the Deep Ellum Foundation. Rohrman sold about 40 of the Deep Ellum properties but still retains ownership of properties in the area. Rohrman started his career as a broker with Henry S. Miller Company and then transitioned to Grubb & Ellis Company. Rohrman has worked with brokerage firms The Stratford Group and Fischer & Company, as well. Prior to forming 42 Real Estate, Rohrman was a partner in two separate commercial real estate development companies. He has completed numerous development projects for tenants including, but not limited to FedEx Express, FedEx Freight, FedEx Ground, Frito-Lay, Kraft, United Healthcare, Dollar General, Tractor Supply, Best Buy, 24 Hour Fitness, Dick's Sporting Goods, ABB and others. Rohrman has participated in and become well versed in many areas of commercial real estate, including brokerage, tenant representation, investment and development throughout his 40+ years in the industry. Rohrman is also active in the Dallas community, devoting time to many different charities and as an Elder in his church, Park Cities Presbyterian Church. Rohrman serves or has served as a board member for the following organizations: Circle Ten Council of the Boy Scouts of America, Downtown Dallas, Inc., The Real Estate Council of Dallas, and Carry the Load. Rohrman also served as a board member on the State of Texas School Land Board, which oversees over 13 million acres of Texas land and a $6.2 Billion investment portfolio for the State of Texas. In 2024, the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors (NTCAR) inducted Rohrman into their Hall of Fame. Rohrman was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, and graduated from Clinton High School in Mississippi. He attended Baylor University where he earned his undergraduate degree in business (BBA) and also earned a Master of Science degree in education (MSEd). Rohrman earned his MBA at Southern Methodist University. Scott and his wife Laura, have three children: Wilson, a graduate of Baylor University, works with Gillon Property Group in Dallas; Amelia, a graduate of Texas A&M University, is a tenant rep office broker for Lincoln Property in Austin; and Jack, a graduate of Texas A&M University, is a partner at Holley Development Company in Dallas.
